Here’s my best attempt to go over this IFrame technique, since I’m an advertiser not a coder.

Definition:

An IFrame (Inline Frame) is an HTML element that allows you to embedded (insert) content from another website inside your webpage’s.

Quick Example:

When you see Google Maps within a website you are actually looking at an IFrame.

By now your probably ready to get down to it and find out how you can increase conversions with IFrames. Here’s how you can take a simple IFrame code and increase conversions along with getting around Facebooks affiliate url block.

Benefits:

1. There is no re-directing; once they land on your page they see the website

2. No need to buy a domain to mask and re-direct affiliate link since you don’t see the url in the IFrame

3. No ugly affiliate url shown (only see your actual website url)

4. There are no “Pop-Ups” to be blocked

5. Higher comfort level since they don’t have to leave your site

6. No need for banner ads since the website will be what’s shown with full functionality to opt-in or purchase!

FaceBook Technique:

If your an affiliate marketer and looking at advertising on Facebook, you will quickly realize that they don’t allow ad’s to use affiliate links. Well, this is a loop hole that gets you around that!

1. Determine what page on your website or blog you plan to put your IFrame Code on. (Don’t add the code yet)

2. Use the deep link that goes directly to your webpage and use that as the landing page for the ad.

3. Submit that to Facebook.

4. Once you get approval now you need to go and input your IFrame Code using your affiliate link onto that page you are using as your landing page. (If you need the IFrame html code, there is a link at the bottom of this page)

5. (optional) Customize IFrame code to your liking.

The best thing about this technique is that there is no additional action your visitor needs to accomplish to see the affiliate product your advertising. You will be amazed at how well this simple IFrame strategy works!
